Since 23 May 2025, over the course of a year, the Coristi per Caso have staged the performance 2025 Gaza Biennale Italy Pavilion Padua nine times in and around the city of Padua, attracting about 2,000 spectators

The show presents a video gallery featuring reproductions of works by artists from the Gaza Biennale, with whom the association has been in contact since the project’s inception in November 2024.

The viewing of the works is accompanied by live readings of texts that the artists have sent to comment on their artistic production, addressing their relationship with art and with war, and bearing witness to their desire for rebirth, as well as musical pieces performed by the choir to accompany the exhibition of works and the readings. These pieces draw from the tradition of Italian folk and anti-war songs, with forays into modern pop.

Guests from all over Italy were invited to each event; they generously took part, contributing their insights as journalists, essayists and peace activists, alongside two of the artists from the Gaza Biennale — Hamada Elkept and Ola al Sharif, who were part of the first edition — and the Palestinian families present in Padua.

A catalogue of the works, with a foreword by art historian Tomaso Montanari, was published by Coristi per caso and distributed throughout the city of Padua, where it was made available during the events.

The funds raised through donations from the spectators were donated to the Gaza Biennale.
